Pete Jarrett is a highly qualified expert specialising in dyslexia, dyscalculia, and developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia), with a deep commitment to advancing understanding and remediation of specific learning difficulties.

Holding extensive qualifications in the field, Pete is actively involved in shaping best practices and policies as the Chair of the BDA Dyscalculia Committee and a member of the Advisory Board of the Dyscalculia Network.

His expertise spans diagnostic assessment and remediation of specific learning difficulties in the workplace, transdiagnostic approaches, and the integration of data science and psychometric assessment for assessors.

Pete's dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering collaboration is evident in his leadership roles within academic committees, including the Specific Learning Difficulties Network (SLDN) in Edin and St. Andrews, where he chairs the SLDN Tech Working Group and leads the Universal Screening in KS1 Stakeholders group funded by the Nuffield Foundation.

Additionally, Pete shares his wealth of knowledge through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for prestigious organisations such as PATOSS, SASC, and the BDA. His involvement extends to international collaboration, as a Member of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology TUNDRA Working Group on Neurodevelopmental disorders, and contributions to the Dyslexia Delphi Study at the University of Warwick/SASC.
